Issue with Rating Control

Sep 1, 2011 at 1:45 PM

Hi,

in my app I'm using the Rating Control. It looks pretty nice, but somehow different from what is shown on the Documentation page on this site. Whereas here blank rating stars are still visible, they are unvisible in my app. I would like to have the 'still slightly visible' effect as well. How can I do this?

BTW I'm using the latest BPC release available via NuGet (which is 2.0).

Thanks in advance!

Hi Strezz0r,

Can you give us a sample app (maybe just one screen with your styles) ?

Regards,

Chris

Hi Chris,

I found the cause for the differences: I set the control's "IsEnabled" property to False. This makes blank stars invisible. However I don't want the control to be clickable. Is there an easy way to have blank stars be visible while the control is unclickable?

Thanks in advance!

Problem solved!

By setting the IsHitTestVisible property to False I got what I wanted. Now I'm happy. :)

Thanks and goodbye!
